Oh! Did I mention the salsa? Yeah, those were great too. And they don't skimp on the quantity of food they give you. My wife loved her Carne Asada just as much. The rice and beans were perfectly seasoned. The first bite of my delicious Chili Verde pork completely cured my fears about how the food would be. I was like, "Whoa! this is a lot of food". When I went to the front to get our order, the first thing I noticed was how heavy the bag was. Then I really thought that I was in for a disappointment. We barely got seated before our name was called. I placed an order for the Chile Verde plate, and my wife had the Carne Asada plate. They have an extensive menu overhead, with many choices, and I just could not see where all this variety could come out of such a small kitchen with minimal staff, with any quality, that is. I could only really see one person working there, and it looked like the traffic was slow. The kitchen looked pretty small, and the remodeling looked a little low-class. When I walked in, my first impression was, "this not gonna be that good." The overall appearance of the place is pretty bland and basic. I finally got a chance to try this place out the other day, and it really was a pleasant surprise. When I saw them remodeling the place, I was excited to see what moved in.
